Fall Reads

Image via

This fall there are so many books coming out that I want to read and for once I feel like I am on top of it and actually have a to-read list of books. I normally am searching book lists that other people have created and decided to share my list this fall in case anyone is looking for a fall read.

I am currently reading Commonwealth by Ann Patchett and although I'm only about 10 pages in so far, I already like it.

If you liked Room, definitely give The Wonder by Emma Donoghue a try.

Amor Towles' newest book, A Gentleman in Moscow, is bound to be a can't put down read this season. I read his first book, Rules of Civility in a day it was so good, I could not stop reading.

I'm excited to read Taste & Technique by Naomi Pomeroy since it takes cooking back to the fundamentals, stripping recipes of complexities so that you are able to build skill that can be translated to other recipes and you develop as a chef not just a recipe follower.

Not out until October 4th Nicholas Sparks newest novel, Two By Two, is hard to not include on my list. You can always count on his heartwarming or at times heartbreaking stories to be an enjoyable read.

I don't typically read biographies, but The Six by Laura Thompson caught my eye, probably because I just finished reading Life After Life which is set in London during World War Two. These six sister seem like quite a sensational bunch and I'm looking forward to learning about them.
