Farmers Market Flowers

Farmers Market Flowers

The farmers market once spring comes is so much better than in the winter. Flowers and delicious fruits (besides for citrus, which I love but it gets old) start gracing the tables and I start looking up recipes to cook spring veggies that I don't normally buy. Here in San Diego, spring flowers means ranunculus blooms. If you've ever seen photos of the Carlsbad Flower Fields, you'll know what I mean.

Since I live near a farmers market its so nice to be able to walk over and grab a few things and a bunch of fresh flowers for the week. In my dream life I would have fresh flowers every week but once a month will have to do for now!

One of my favorite daytime dates is to go explore a different farmers market. There are so many throughout San Diego and it's fun to explore a different neighborhood, buy some good food, and get outside. I also love exploring farmers markets when I travel. Most tourists don't go to weekly farmers markets and you get to taste local eats.

Since the weather is warming up it was so nice to step out in a casual sundress. This cotton/linen number is so cute and comfortable. and the ties on the sleeves are adorable. I 'm wearing a size XS Petite and it's currently on sale under $100. It would also look cute paired with a denim jacket or espadrilles. Being back in San Diego in springtime makes me realize how much I missed wearing dresses and sandals in San Francisco. I love my jeans but dresses are so easy and look more put together with next to no effort.
